Air in or out of the kitchen
Extraction system draws in steam and cooking odours, catches the hard particles in a grease filter, and expels the air out of the room through ducting in an outside wall to the air outside. When latter is not possible, then it is time for the recirculation system. The air is sucked into the hood, filtered in released back into the kitchen.

Clean indicators
Light notification for maintenance
Depending on the extraction or recirculation system, the hood has a light indicator for the grease filter, notifying you when it is time to clean it, and a light indicator for replacing the charcoal filter. Both are very important for perfect performance.

Always a fresh kitchen
The hood can be automatically switched off after 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes, providing the right level of air purity in your kitchen.
Hob timer
Somebody always on the watch
The countdown timer can be set for up to 99 minutes. If you know the optimum cooking for a particular dish from experience, you can set the timer the hob will switch off automatically when that time expires. A beep will signal that the food is ready.
SoftMelt
One, two, chocolate
The SoftMelt function gently melts chocolate or butter at a constant temperature of 42˚C, thereby creating perfect conditions for melting, without burning. This function can also be used for gentle defrosting.
